The "McCarthyites" are seen today only as the Left portrays them.I was reading The Conscience of a Conservative a couple of days ago (the Goldwater/Bozell Junior book) and what the federal government was up to back in those days is no different from how they are today; the book described them back then as a "leviathan". |
