Coal is very polluting and there's cleaner alternatives than coal it's unfortunate but we owe it to our future generations to leave them a planet thats actually habitable. Hopefully places like West Virginia can find an alternative economy but it's not realistic to keep coal production when theres a better ways to produce energy.I do agree automation will take more and more jobs. Heck i walked into a McDonalds in Manhattan a couple wks ago and had to order off a computer screen. Some restaurants have you order off of tablets. The dark side of progress... |
