I would have had to have listened to the traffic reports before midnight before the road was closed so the delays would have been normal and not reported. Once past Queens Blvd, there was nothing to do to avoid it so knowing about the closure then would have been useless.The place for the signs should have been on the most northern part of the BQE when it would have been possible to plan alternatives, not when it is too late. That is the purpose of electronic signage. |
