Penna. Auto Registration renewal

When I sent in my renewal for my car registration, I read this big article about them eliminating those pesky stickers every year, and go to a computerized system when a police officer checks your plate. My registration came today, in the same type envelope that said turn over envelope for sticker, and there was the new 2017 sticker.
I applied the sticker to my license plate, signed my registration card, and the new card is in my car.
