I don't like the fact that anyone, regardless of how mentally unstable or incompetent can get a gun. There is nothng wrong with police/law enforcement, military or responsible hunters/rural-remote residents having guns as they are necessary to defend aganst wildlife. They have no place in a crowded city, mall, shop, church, or anywhere large numbers of people meet. Certainly not on the streets of Dallas during a multi-thousand people march against excessive police violence.Basically, if the bullet won't leave one's property, it's okay. Anywhere else, strictest regulation and safety / competency training for all. There's nothing to prevent that in the second amendment. |
