I would contend that her flaws have been greatly exaggerated.

She has made some very dubious choices. So has every single successful politician. Hers have just been investigated and publicized to death.

She has decided to stay married to a serial adulterer in order to advance her career. Right, she's the first woman ever to stand by her man for somewhat selfish reasons.

She and Bill hung out with some shady characters they should have kept away from in Whitewater and lost money from it. She got a (qualified) friend in as White House travel agent, getting the in-house staff fired - that was unfair but run of the mill. She bought a bill of goods from Cheney on Iraq, but she trusted Colin Powell and he got snookered too.

She agreed to stick with the State Department's sloppy culture on information security, but she didn't invent that culture, she just didn't use her efforts to kill it off, but let it benefit her. She didn't meddle in physical security for embassies, but why would she? Not her job. No more than Commander in Chief Reagan told the Marines they didn't have enough security in Beirut.

Meanwhile Trump stole $40 million and his defense-friendly "Mexican" judge agreed to defer the trial until after the election.

Trump is extreme in the other direction, but what politician hasn't done some really stupid things? Rubio committed credit card fraud and was lucky the defrauded party was too embarrassed to prosecute. Sanders has made some whoppers of bad political decisions. How about Gingrich? How about Cuomo, to pick a prominent Democrat?

And so on. I don't approve of Clinton's choices, but there's nothing really unusual about them. Maybe we should go for pure and innocent presidents like Carter and Dukakis. :)
