These party bigwigs may be coming out and shouting"unify", but it's just as fractured among the membership as it ever was.What Trump showed was that he did not need the Republican Party bigwigs and their membership to win the nomination. The recent polls are showing that he may not need these traditional Republicans to win the presidency. their presumed defacto leader doesn't seem to have the least bit of interestm in unifying the party. He can't even get his own campaign going. Had you not used the third person masculine pronoun, I would have thought this statement referred to the Democrats. |
