His airway was only compressed briefly and not in such a way that person of moderate health would be compromised. The guy had spent several minutes trying to argue his way out of his arrest and had started to become physical. It became necessary to take him down.Now I'm not familiar enough with police procedure to know whether the move that Pantaleo used was authorized or was in any way a good idea, so I can't say that this was completely on the up and up. |
