You don't ignore sitting presidents.The power goes with the office. Would you like to explain what happened to this guy then?  LBJ proved that power goes with the office during his tenure as Vice-President. Zero power, zero influence. Did you know that LBJ was a democrat and so was the congress? What LBJ had as titular party head was long dossiers on everybody and the balls to use it. |
