Posted by Dave on Sun May 22 15:07:09 2016 Last week between the rain showers I managed to get lucky and hop a flight around downtown Ft. Worth and Arlington on a circa-1940 C-47 flown by the Commemorative Air Force:   Army Air Corp T-6 trainer, used in WWII:   Flight crew running the pre-engine start checklist:  LaGrave Field, the former home of the Ft. Worth Cats, a United League Baseball team. The ULB ceased operations after seven seasons. I attended a number of games over the years. The teams sucked but they were fun to watch and tickets cost less than $10:  Downtown Ft. Worth:   Cruising at 1,500 feet:  Arlington's AT&T Stadium, a.k.a. "Jerry World", home of the Dallas Cowboys:  Next door to Jerry World is Globe Life Park, home of the Texas Rangers:
