Green Acres mall has been a hell hole since the late 1970's.
Tearing down that multi-plex cinema and Alexander's parking deck were smart moves. They had lots of shootings there.

If the break-in's were to stop, they'll find other mayhem. Wealth is out there and the criminals know it.

Spillover crime is less prevalent on the North Shore. Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, and neighborhoods along Union Tpke are rather nice places.
