That may or may not be. First, didn't watch the bowl, was working during it. Secondly, my complaint is that FOX News, as usual, made a statement claiming fact when there was no such evidence. That's what I was on about there. I'm not surprised that got entirely missed here.As to the Panthers, I never had any issues with them. I met Huey Newton, Bobby Seale and a few others, even had them as guests on my radio show. They did something for their community that was positive and helpful and if it happened to scare the shit out of the old guard and get their attention, I was cool with that too. Same for Shabazz in Harlem back then. Were it not for both groups, their communities would have continued to deteriorate even further than they did at the time. |
