Because they wanted to criminalize abortion ASAP. Those laws came about the time when the last abortion case was heard by ScOTUS, and they expected Roe to be overturned. Fetal homicide seemed like the quickest way to eliminate the rights of American women to self determination, these are the misogynist states. You know the list. Not a single one supports any rights for women. |
