Depends upon whom you talk to. At the very least, it holds the potential for life.

Shoot and kill a woman and her six-week old embryo, in 38 states in addition to killing the woman you'll probably be prosecuted for fetal homicide. Twenty-three of those states have fetal homicide laws that apply to the earliest stages of pregnancy.
