Because its one less gun to kill maim or harm people. The fewer there are, the fewer get harmed. Its that simple.If someone that really wants a gun has to pay through the teeth, get training and licensed, they will be far more inclined to keep their shit clean, keep the gun unloaded and locked up, and remain vigilant about it in the future than the typical GCM we have today. Right now, its too easy to get, and with that comes negligence. In this case, it costs innocent lives. |
