A requirement for a higher level of staffing causes clinics in low population density areas to close, and results in more deadly illegal abortions.I wouldn't object if Texas only required the higher level of staffing in counties with a population of over 500,000. My view on abortions is like my view on guns. I would prefer no woman ever had an abortion, but if she's going to have one I'd like her to have safe affordable access to one. I would prefer most people didn't own guns, but if they're going to own them I'd like them to own them safely, with screening, mandatory training and restricting the most dangerous guns. |
