Yeah, Unca Larry is still coding his pages in the ancient windows-1252 format instead of UTF-8 or even modern unicode. That can drive some of the more modern settings over the edge and create some really interesting bizarre characters on non-windows stuff. But hey ... gotta play the ball where it lands, and only the anal retentive (or does it really NEED a hyphen?) whine about such things as missing characters, wrong characters, multiple posts or whatever triggers their OCD.It's all good as far as I'm concerned. I can decode the answer and remember to carry the bum to the next decimal location. (grin) |
