If there were documented risks here I think the Texas Attorney General and others would be providing numbers.My nephew had nasal surgery done a few years ago. The doctor told him there was a small chance that it could start bleeding in the next few days and that uncontrollable bleeding could be life threatening, so he had better not travel anywhere obscure, but had to stay somewhere that he could get to an emergency room quickly. By your logic, the doctor was guilty of malpractice for not keeping him in a hospital - the aftermath of his procedure was a lot more risky than an abortion. |
