I believe there are areas that need to be fixed and I do not want to turn it into Canada or Great Britain, but from speaking with medical professionals increased coverage saves money. For a disease like Diabetes it is much cheaper for Medicaid to pay for a doctor visit and blood test which shows that diet and exercise can treat it versus the tax payers footing the bill when someone shows up in the ER and requires an amputation due to complications from advanced Diabetes |
