Your point being? Your health and welfare is far more important than quote paid for air unquote. For reasons that escape me you chose to ignore perfectly suitable and safe options such as Greyhound, Amtrak, or a boat up the Hudson River into the Erie Canal through Lake Erie and up the Detroit River or, alternatively, up the Atlantic Seaboard down the St. Lawrence River into Lake Ontario and Lake Erie and then up the Detroit River. Do not even think about making excuses such as ice floes since there are none this time of year or the logistical difficulty of getting from Lake Ontario into Lake Erie since you could take tributaries or simply portage the boat around Niagara Falls. Unless told otherwise I am just going to go ahead and assume that you, JayZeeBMT, an otherwise clear thinking and respected journalist, published playwright, leading voice and shining beacon of hope for the Lower Hudson Valley Tri-State LGBTQQIA Community of Color who happens to be something of a social gadfly big deal on the New York scene, will do the right thing and take said alternative mode(s) of transportation back to New York. Your itinerary up until now is beyond the pail or pale one of those words which means outside the bounds of acceptable behavior.
