Something to note though, that's DES which has long since become worthless for the very reason that EFF demonstrated. Nowadays, it's triple encryption using 256 bit AES:http://arstechnica.com/apple/2014/09/apple-expands-data-encryption-under-ios-8-making-handover-to-cops-moot/ And there's more than one layer of it, that's why it's a triple roll. |
