There you are! I was with republicans since my parents were property owners upstate and as loyal as republicans can get to the party as you can possibly get.But what REALLY made me stick when I reached voting age was those weekend conversations (QSO'S) with Barry Goldwater who like me was an avid ham radio operator. And once the other hams snatched their "QSL card" (verifies contact with a particular person or station) I could spend an hour or two alone with Barry talking stuff over aside from the occasional interruption. I blame Barry personally for how I turned out, spent more time with him than my parents. Heh. We REALLY need to do something about the hijackers of the GOP and do like Jesus did in the temple. Let them line up with Trump's third party party and let them consort with Ross Perot's crazy aunt in the basement. (grin) |
