Noooo....many fled for freedom in the uproar of war and remained free in the east. The British helped up to 4,000 documented African Americans leave the country for Nova Scotia, Jamaica, and Britain rather than be returned to slavery.

Open your mind to real history and stop swallowing that NOI nonsense as gospel.
