Was Reagan called an enemy of Israel over this?) Zivotovsky v Kerry And no one here has answered the question as to whether a President can commit treason. Yes. If the President could not commit treason, the Founders would not have included it among impeachable offenses. If a President can commit treason, it goes without saying that a sitting Senator certainly can. |
