The ORD website describes it as:"The F4F-3 Wildcat exhibit features a replica World War II fighter plane flown by airport namesake and U.S. Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Commander Edward "Butch" O'Hare. Memorabilia from the era complement the aircraft replica." That description seems odd. Is it a replica F4F, or a real F4F that replicates the exact one flown by Butch? It the latter, I think their description is worded incorrectly. |
