Outside of NYC, (except in Italy), pizza is a strange, foreign concept that the locals just can't quite get right.False. Lots of NYers have moved and opened pizzerias in other states. About a mile or so from me is a fantastic NY-style pizzeria run by a guy whose family ran two pizzerias in NYC from the 1950's until 9/11. And in St. Louis there is a top-notch local chain run by a guy who used to run a pizzeria in Throggs Neck. |
