How do I know I'm hearing God and not voices in my head associated with paranoid schizophrenia?Because during the times described in the Torah, and during select times after, ending with the destruction of the Second Temple, G-d's presence was pretty obvious and well known and the proff could be (and was) seen by many people. What if President Huckabee and his entire cabinet say God has told them to destroy Israel so that the second coming can take place?From the Jewish perspective, that would be a bunch of baloney. Christians may believe it though. I don't know how their prophet/prophesy system works. |
