You were using the present tense, not making any reference to the past.Correct. People didn't stop doing bad things when G-d went into "hiding". Just because we don't have authorization to fully respond to said bad people doesn't mean that what they are doing is still bad enough to warrant a severe response should we at some point gain permission to do so. You claimed that nothing can justify such a response and I'm showing why you are wrong. Furthermore, I said nothing about justifying what Schliessel did. You were speaking in general terms and so was I. We both were not speaking only of Schliessel. Seriously, do you think that marching in a parade while dressed inappropriately, or watching people do that, is an offense that merits death? Get real. Why in the world would I justify that? If I justified that, don't you think I'd be in the loony bin by now? Do you think I'd still have at least partial custody of my three beautiful children??? |
