Compliance with purchasing healthcare insurance at the subsidized exchanges is quite high. The gaps are in the states that did not expand Medicaid, and those people are still a drain on the system. Do bear in mind that as a result of ACA taxpayers are no longer subsidizing "charity care" in states particularily in the south as such should not be necessary in the new system. Providers are seeking to recoup lost funds from payable claims, so the middle class ends up subsidizing this obsolete and inadequate means of failing to deliver care to all. Meanwhile, funds are available through Medicaid expansion and that fact is being ignored. |
