Oddly you seem to now have a better chance of having a mixed wedding in a Catholic Church, if certain strict rules are met.Nothing new there. My mother, a Roman Catholic, and my father, a Lutheran, were married by a priest in a Catholic Church in 1939. My father just had to sign a paper saying he would allow the children to be brought up as Catholics. |
