She probably had a number of health issues, false teeth and weakened bones/osteoporosis in her later years. Pregnancy robs the woman of calcium, and it isn't possible to rebuild with that many pregnancies. That requires time and exercise, which I'd bet she had plenty of the latter and none of the former. |
