Clearly not as I will never allow the retractable landing lights to be deployed not ever. The fixed lights are sufficient, and besides, the retractable ones are not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. As for St Maarten, it was alright I guess. On short final, I stole a glance at the fence and saw a bunch of drunk Europeans people with their iPhones pointed up at us. Even though our performance allowed for FLEX (Reduced) thrust data I chose to use MAX thrust on takeoff in the hopes I would blow said individuals into the ocean. Ridiculous. The return to Washington Dulles was a nightmare as we had to divert into Norfolk (WX) to refuel. The line of storms kept building so after takeoff out of Norfolk we had to go west, then south, then back north to get around the storms and into Dulles. It was not good.
