It'd be hypocritical of me to complain about someone else's schtick. That said, this next line reeks of projection— The trouble is, some of his posts are interesting and true. You just can't always be sure which ones without doing a lot of work, which makes the good posts far less valuable. Making a roughly even mixture of valid and absurd posts is just sort of your thing, but projection not so much. Might want to avoid that. However, I am curious as to your assertion that it takes work to tell the difference between a valid post and an absurd one; that comes easily to sane people. Is there, perhaps, another layer to your act? Would you mind breaking character to explain it? |
