And sorry for not going any deeper on that, the Viet Nam story and the manipulation of him that caused that is enough for a book and sadly I'm in the middle of some code or I'd at least hint at it. LBJ quit because he had been completely defeated where it wasn't quite visible. Walter Cronkite's comments about "lost America" was just the final straw. |
