He's not saying it's a criminal act (for a change); he's saying it's reprehensible. The latter is an opinion that can be dismissed as premature, but can also be acknowledged as not unreasonable.The cops in Ferguson and SI may not have been found guilty of any criminal offense, but based on the evidence given it's certainly a defensible opinion to say that they acted inappropriately, recklessly, reprehensibly, or any other similar adjective you might want to use. You have a brain damaged younf man going into a van with a healthy spine and coming out with a severely damaged one. To say that this is unacceptable police conduct doesn't need to wait for a jury verdict as to whether it's criminal. |
