I'm not looking for romance, I've been happily married for years. i want a place with affordable, accessible (timely appointments, not overbooked due to scarcity, without harassment, gauntlets or medically uncalled for issues, professionalism not dogma in the pharmacy) medical care. A thriving arts community. Growth in tech, not water shortage driven decline. In fact, just plain old Water. Labor laws that ensure one gets to eat on a regular basis (did you know there is no law guaranteeing lunch in Texas?).the ability to walk, to go anywhere without risk of being shot. Those have a lot more of a real connection to quality of life, over one's entire life, than the 3-5 years spent hooking up until one finds that permanent partner. Nobody is young forever. |
