happens to everyone, most of us probably. A former roommate, MIT grad. works for a large data company programming> He tells me, that yes, he still gets everything done, but that there are times, that he just does not have the absolute instant recall he had years ago, when it comes to citing project details to a co-worker.

Alzheimers, as I've been told, has nothing to do with "senior moments" (why did I open the fridge again? why in hell can't I remember the order of the tracks on side 2?), and is a result of what are called "amyloids" - growth of hardening tissue spreading over the brain and stopping the processes which make us aware and conscious of all that is going on.
- above is general info, I was told by a medical person awhile back.
