Text corrected. I mean, sometimes it seems I'm just wasting my time...

Perhaps more to the point, as we age we seem to have more "senior moments" without it necessarily being an indication of Alzheimer's.

There is no history of Alzheimer's on either side of my family and, at 69, I still work full-time at a highly technical job where among other things I have to evaluate, implement and use new technology and report on same.

But do I sometimes go into a room and try to remember why I did it? You bet. And my wife may cite the time I came home and asked her who she was: "Your wife." Me: "I'm married?"

Don't worry. For those who like my history tidbits, the long-term memory is supposed to go last.
