A member of an oppressed minority wishing his group had greater rights than his oppressors is not a social problem and depending on the circumstances it isn't even really a personal failing.Do you really not understand how power dynamics might be relevant? How: "I hate your group despite the fact that it's never done anything to me, so I shot your parents" may differ from "I hate your group because you shot my parents and I wish I could shoot your parents" in some fundamental way? |
