"Smuggled" is a contentious term that suggests guilty knowledge and criminality. If you agree with that you think a Misdemeanor is appropriate?Yes, I do suggest guilty knowledge and criminality. He knew damn well it was illegal. He probably knew his friend well enough to know the risk of her being a spy was very low, so I'm OK with it being a misdemeanor charge. It's like reckless driving. Usually you get away with it without killing anyone. |
