So there are 6 times the amount of whites, as there are Blacks, 12% of the country is Black, vs 72% White....so there are 6 times the amount of whites than Blacks, .yet whites are only 2.5 times the amount of whites on welfare. Thank you for proving Blacks are much more likely than whites to be on such.The country is 63 percent non-Hispanic white; 72 percent includes Hispanic. Looking at it a little differently, non-Hispanic whites make up 42 percent of Americans living below the poverty line, while Blacks make up 22 percent. That's a bit closer the distribution of SNAP recipients. |
