Every situation has to be looked at individually based on our strategic needs. Perhaps we do need additional ground forces in Iraq to rout out ISIS. I don't think we need them now, but we may if the air war doesn't do the trick. I keep my mind open.As fas as Korea goes, the reason they want us there is because of the continuous threat from the North -- my words "they want us there" was shorthand - they want us, and we agree they need us. Same analysis should be made anywhere. |
