I think by role.I often thought that Jim Phelps, played by Peter Graves on Mission Impossible was closely similar to Colonel Hogan, played by Bob Crane on Hogan's Heroes as they were both leaders under adverse conditions. There were other similarities, like Mission Impossible's Barney Collier (Greg Morris) and Hogan's Sgt Kinchloe (Ivan Dixon) were both black guys and also were the go-to dudes for anything technical, especially radio and electronics. your pal, Fred |
