The author misunderstands what the term "chosen people" means.It does NOT mean "favorite people". It means people chosen to perform a special duty to the world. Jews were "chosen" to be a light unto the nations - and were told that if they fulfilled that obligation, they would dwell in safety in the Holy Land, but when they did not, they would get kicked out. History has shown that the Jews got kicked out twice. As for other people living there, Jews believe that since God created the world, God is entitled to apportion land as God sees fit. |
