Actually, there are quite a few people who try to sneak across the northern border too.Smuggling is one reason. Also, if you are from China, it's easy to get to Vancouver on a visitor's visa. Then all you need is a short rough bushwack through the woods or a long hike on a well-maintained trail, and you're in the US of A. |
