You think he wouldn't recognize any manipulation of that sort?Our disagreements on Second Amendment issues are disagreements between two intelligent people taking otherwise thoughtful positions. It's like Anthony Kennedy disagreeing on the subject with Stephen Breyer as opposed to rkba disagreeing with streetcarman1. I believe that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" means "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". AlM believes it means "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed unless the Government has a rational basis to do so" thus conveniently ignoring that the rational-basis test does not a apply to fundamental, individual constitutional rights where the applicable test governing legal limits is one of more heightened scrutiny. |
