For reasons beyond my ability to comprehend and for reasons many here are seemingly able to comprehend, a couple hopelessly innocent and defenseless NYPD officers going about their work were slaughtered by a maniacal coward, leaving behind a wife, children, parents, siblings, friends. Isn't that enough? It took all of a couple minutes last evening for this thread to deteriorate and drift into the gutter through allegory and allegation and accusation never mind all the rest. With all respect, shut it. There is a time and place for all that but a couple of cops are dead and gone while the grief and sorrow went along with them. The mourning never lasted until the morning. |
