And Dr. King did not eliminate segregation in the South on his own.

You're right, but there's no denying that his refusal to be intimidated, and go away was instrumental in bringing more attention to segregation. Also - I recognize that you have your opinion, but it doesn't Dr. King's action right, and today's marches/protests wrong.
