I have it on good authority that said individuals have applied for admittance to the Lurker's Guild, hereafter referred to as LG for purposes of this thread. The trains61 is the sole arbiter, which is derived from the Latin -arbiter, in these sort of matters and I trust will render his decision after thoughtful deliberation once a slot becomes available. It took some time for me to be accepted into the LG, and then only as a quote Associate unquote, as it was requested of me, thrice, to provide additional documentation in support of my nomination package. Tragically, according to the bylaws set forth by the trains61, a Member in Good Standing (SGM) cannot nominate candidates so I cannot act on behalf of said individuals. Now, I am going to head down to Paterson as part of my continuing education so I can earn my certificate and pursue my license and registration before facing off against Fred G in a Land Survey competition next year. I am going to defeat him like it's my job. All are invited. Refreshments and a light snack will be served. |
