Basically best example i can think of is what if OJ Simpson had a public defender. He woould have probably been strongly convinced to take a plea deal or have been convicted. $$$ makes a big difference. Look at the drug laws. The drug offenses penalties for the 'poor ppl' drugs ie crack vs coccaine are the strongest. $$$$ talks |
